Rocky has arrived

At 7:55am on Friday December 7th, our long awaited Rocky arrived. He was 8 pounds 10 ounces and was 21 inches long. He has a bit of brownish hair/fuzz on top but a little bit more on the back (ya, he basically has a mullet). His eyes are dark right now so we can't tell if they are going to be brown or blue.

We're calling Rocky our war baby since he was conceived while Ben was on leave from his deployment to Afghanistan and he was born on Pearl Harbor Day.

We ended having a planned c-section as Rocky was stuck high in my stomach and wouldn't drop. It turned out to be a good decision since my placenta was blocking the way for his head. We got to spend 4 days at the hospital in recovery and are now home trying to figure out this whole baby thing.

We're just so happy to have him!
