Danny's home

Daniel came home from the hospital today. He is doing okay. I know some of you have read his carepage. If not here's a brief update.
Daniel went in for his preop on Monday. That included a number of tests and blood draws and a lot of working with the insurance lady at the hospital to make sure everything was done right.
Tuesday he had a cardiac catheterization. They took a lot of pictures of his heart from inside and measured the pressures in several places. They could have fixed a few things if they had seen anything to fix, but it looked great.
Wednesday he had surgery to remove his shunt and connect a major vein to his pulmonary artery.
Thursday, Friday, and Saturday he recovered. Sunday he came home.
We're glad that it's all over! Now he'll just need peace and quiet for awhile to fully recover.
